What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Never go for spicy food on the first date… You never know what might happen!
Which book/film/event changed your life?
Danny, the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl. Not only is this a truly heart-warming tale of the relationship between father and son, but it also taught me that you don’t always have to follow the rules to get the best outcome – creativity and innovation can be another path to great results!
Give one characteristic that you feel every leader should have?
The ability to let go and empower others – a leader does not and should not be involved in every aspect!
What is the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
Deciding, around three weeks before the deadline, that I did in fact want to go to university… Not only did I go on to obtain my Master’s, but also had a bloody great time doing so!
What is the most meaningful part of your job?
Easy peasy – seeing/hearing the long lasting and meaningful impact we have on individuals and organisations!
